Pet Bug Bite Care Plan

Pet products are NOT formulated for cats or other small pets. Use only for dogs, horses or other large pets.

Spider Bite

1. Wash the bite with soap and water.
2. Apply a cool compress.
3. Apply Pet BiteRx.
4. Antibiotics are not helpful unless the wound is infected.
5. Do not cut or apply suction to the wound.
6. Monitor the bite for redness, swelling, pain, or signs of infection.
7. Re-apply Pet BiteRx to control bite symptoms and promote healing.
8. If redness, swelling or pain does not subside or there are signs of infection see your vet.

Bug Bite

1. Apply a cool compress to the bite area for 15-20 minute intervals to relieve swelling or discomfort. 
2. Apply Pet BiteRx.
3. Antibiotics are not helpful unless the wound becomes infected.
4. Monitor the bite for redness, swelling, pain or signs of infection.
5. Re-apply Pet BiteRx to control bite symptoms and promote healing.
6. If swelling persists apply warm compresses to the bite area for relief.
7. If redness, swelling or pain does not subside or there are signs of infection see your vet.
8. Conrol pet scratching or breaking bite blisters as they may lead to infection.
